got them (violet's birthday was on the 6th) little cakes before lecture cause i figured even if i get a small sized one, we're not gg to be able to finish it. Wen was dressed up that day, everyone was commenting/complimenting her! :3

I don't know if I'm lucky or unlucky to always have my birthday during the holidays. Most people think its a good thing, but i hardly get any presents cause of that! ): Always forgotten, weh.
We bought Otah during the break. We are pretty damn unglam, really.

having close friends whose birthdays fall one after another really made me look forward to MY birthday. Would be pretty cool right, considering this year i'll be 18!!! On one hand i can't wait for all the gifts i would receive, the partiessss and all that! But then I somehow don't really wanna grow older! I don't know. I'm easily bought over by presents though... :)

3rd July 2009Met up with Wenwen in town to eat our favourite Oyster Meesua + XXL Chicken combination at the fountain!
we also caught Ice Age 3 in 3D after that. Super awesome considering this is our virgin 3D movie experience. The movie was super cute, and was relatively okay to understand even though i didnt watch Ice Age part one and two - i know right, i have nooo idea why i didn't watch it. In my opinion, it was worth the $13 movie ticket (yes, each).
no idea why i took a photo of the movie tickets also. i think we both thought it was damnnn ex at first.
went down to mediacorp after that for Don't Forget the Lyrics recording. It was the mandarin version though.
The whole thing was pretty darn boring, but it was cool that we got to visit the control rooms and all. Pretty crazy stuff, our equipment suddenly feels so amateurish...

Met Rendy in town and took her to eat Far East Beef Ramen! Wahhh, love. Sorry I didn't get you anything except for that babypink + lace birthday card. Apparently its lingerie design looking.

and my awesome compact's four flash feature - first gen "face detection" mode
strolled abit, checked out all the art stores for goodness knows what before the pig in me had cravings for sushi .. at 9pm. so sushi, we go.
eww. i feel nauseous just looking at my own hair + hair colour
subsequently we got a little too bored and started comparing contents of our bags. i know right.. whuuuuttt? fun nonetheless. Beef always makes me happy ;)
sidenote: I managed to find my compact camera right before i left the house so i was pretty excited and wanted to take more photos that night but i rediscovered why i hate it so much/ want to get a new compact. I have to take one shot at least twice to get it right (and it's not just me!) and i just realised that the zoom function is stuck! ): ): pretty upsetting.

Ahahaha! I think sophia's going to kill me for that. Wow, though. Now i can see how different i look with bangs and side swept fringe. This photo looks pretty much like a good hair day though. And i so prefer this colour to the one above. Eww to red hair. Cannot stop looking at this photo. I actually think i look pretty cute.... D: HAHAHAHAHAH
